myCalc: The digital calculation tool for plant planning

Whether sizing pipelines, calculating condensate loads or determining Kvs values, myCalc is ARI’s new digital calculation tool for system and process engineering. The browser-based tool enables fast and reliable calculations for steam and water applications and supports engineers and plant planners with product-neutral planning and sizing.

myCalc is product-neutral and ideal for initial planning before a specific valve or system component is selected. The calculated values provide a reliable basis for subsequent detailed engineering. Calculations can be saved as favourites, organised in folders and exported as PDF, CSV or JSON files. Results can also be easily shared with colleagues or project partners via URL.

In addition to the browser version, myCalc is also available as a mobile app for smartphones and tablets. The app extends the functionality with practical tools for recurring calculations. Multiple calculations of the same type can be compared, templates can be created for frequently used input data, and the impact of individual parameters can be analysed using a sensitivity analysis. This makes it easier to assess different variants and supports more efficient, well-founded planning decisions.
