Responsibility in action: Corporate responsibility at ARI®

By introducing a systematic environmental and energy management process (ISO 14001 and ISO 50001) ARI® has made it a priority to use energy efficiently and reduce CO₂ emissions along the entire value-added chain by acting sustainably and being even more environmentally friendly.

Sustainability has been a focus for ARI® for many years as we come from a region that is used to addressing issues head on in a solution-oriented manner. Since the company’s foundation we have engaged in steps to protect the water and soil, prevent waste, promote recycling, maintain clean air and reduce noise. We appreciate the value of unspoilt nature. This is why the drinking water and process water for our headquarters comes from our own well.

ARI® has a long-standing history with deep roots in the region of East-Westphalia, Germany. It therefore goes without saying that we feel a high degree of responsibility and respect for our employees. This leads to a company culture that is characterised by a high level of motivation and low staff turnover.

ARI® sees its employees as its most important resource and provides ongoing targeted training and continuing education for its demanding activities. After all, these skills form the basis for our joint success. As a family-run business, ARI® also offers the possibility to combine work and family life – for example with flexible working.

As one of the largest employers in the region, ARI® bears a social responsibility for its employees, their family and the community. Every year, ARI® therefore offers opportunities for a large number of young people to complete training or a hands-on course in a commercial or business division. A number of these trainees have been taken on, provided with continuous further training and are now established, highly skilled employees.
